I whacked off to Show Cam Rips all morning, and while it lacked the interactivity and immediacy of watching a live show, it certainly had its benefits. As implied by the title, ShowCamRips.com is an archive of prerecorded webcam sex shows. They’ve only been around for a matter of months, but they’re already getting close to four million visitors every month. While that’s a drop in the hat compared to platforms like Chaturbate where they’re drawing content from, it's a hell of a lot more traffic than your average off-brand free tube. The concept and the numbers alone got me excited to take a peek for myself, though you don’t have to be a compulsive masturbator nor a pornography addict like me to see what the big deal is. Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

Sexy Camwhores Who You May Have Missed

It's not an unusual setup for a prerecorded webcam tube. They let the thumbnails do the talking here, luring fans in not with an elaborate design or a bunch of flashy iconography, but with a wall of naked camgirls captured at their most intimate cam moments. One thing I like about it right away is that, unlike your average live cam site, most of the women pictured are already naked, and many of them are engaged in activities that would certainly get them kicked out of YouTube or Starbucks.

Tune in to any live cam site and you’re likely to find a bunch of bored girls with their clothes on, but they’re not collecting those kinds of Show Cam Rips around here. However they’re doing it, I’d say they’re doing a hell of a job, which goes a long way in explaining the site’s growing popularity.

Cam Sluts from Major Platforms in One Place

The three cam brands consist of half the tags on ShowCamRips, while the others point broadly to types of shows. They’ve got sections dedicated to Female, Couple and Trans shows, which is helpful and useful, but it’s pretty fucking lackluster as far as tagging goes. This is a very common issue with webcam archives, in large part because the collections are built quickly by machine. Without human intervention, it's just not possible to tag every sex act, fetish, costume, ethnicity or body type like you’d find on your typical porn tube.

The end result is an archive that ain’t exactly easy to search for specific content. You can search for your favorite camgirls if you know their names, but your results are going to be seriously limited if you’re looking for women catering to your specific sexual interests. I was able to get exactly one result when I ran a search for Cosplay. Searches for Blowjob, BBW, ASMR, Dildo, BDSM and Feet all came up empty.

One thing that would improve the search function immediately would be the ability to search for partial usernames. That would at least give you some results for women who include some basic tags in their handles. Most similar sites offer this feature, and I don’t think it would be too hard to implement here. As it stands, the ShowCamRips.com search bar has limited utility.

Holy Fuck, That’s a Lot of Cam Rips

The collection is so deep that it’s hard to find the bottom. In fact, the page numbering system at the bottom of the screen maxes out at 99, which is woefully inadequate. I started tweaking the URL by hand and found at least 5200 pages of videos. That’s over 150,000 Show Cam Rips as of this writing, which is impressive to say the very least, especially for a stash that hasn’t even been around a year.

For my official fap test of the site, I refreshed the front page and found a fresh spread of material. One of the newest vids is a CamSoda webcam rip of a thicc Latina in nylons playing with herself, and the thumbnail was hot enough to lure me in to watch the full thing. With my adblocker running, I was able to avoid seeing any spam, but I could tell the site was trying to serve some because I had to click the Play button multiple times to get it going. ShowCamRips.com delivers on their titular product, in absolutely insane abundance. The sheer size and scope of this archive is something to behold. While I do wish they had a better system for organizing and searching the collection, this one’s an easy recommendation to webcam fans, especially those who already have some favorite starlets they like to watch live.
