Basically, the way I see it, it’s because their database is a bit fucked, so it takes a while to load all the information and ads. But if you go to an empty category, the page loads pretty much instantly. A bit of tweaking here could help a ton, and I think that OneBackPage.com can definitely make some improvements with the loading times, especially since their website isn’t very graphically demanding. It just looks bland, so it should at least load fast, if anything.

The layout is a bit of a bummer in some regards. One reason is that when you go to the dropdown menu where you’re selecting categories, all of the most important ones aren’t at the top. In fact, the first couple of categories that are offered are all empty. Or they aren’t empty, but they have ads that have nothing to do with them and are often just ads for escorts that decided that these empty categories are the perfect place to advertise themselves and their sexy bodies.

I would tend to agree, but I don’t know a single soul that would even accidentally search for some of these categories. I mean come on, who in their right mind would search for escorts in the ‘Bar’ category. So yeah, there’s definitely a bit of disorganization going on with OneBackPage.com, so this could also be improved. But they should care, of course, as this means that anyone can post anything in any category, and in that case, why do you have categories in the first place anyway?
