You aren’t exactly going to be buying a girlfriend outright, but if you’ve got the coin, you can definitely have a babe pretend over the internet. After clicking the validation link in my email box, they dropped me back at one of the profiles I’d been trying to view. This time I had access to a full gallery of photos.

However, if you don’t start getting spendy, the credits expire in a few days, so keep that in mind before snagging your username.

Typically, three credits go for five bucks, though they’re most expensive if you buy in small increments. For forty dollars, you get 35 credits, and that tier also bestows upon you the label of Premium Member. This gives you some discounts and access to features like two-way video chat and the ability to send private photos. I think it’s lame they make you buy the more expensive membership to get those features, but that’s not uncommon.

The credits work as an all-around site currency. In addition to using them to send messages, credits are what you’ll spend to unlock further content, tip the girls, or get them to create some custom content for you.

Still, at the end of the day, I can see why My Girl Fund is still struggling compared to some of the bigger sites out there. The whole thing reminds me of vintage-era MySpace trying to rebrand as an OnlyFans-style DIY porn platform, mixed with some online dating features that feel out of place on a site where you’re paying a model to massage a banana with her oiled-up boobs. It’s easy to see the site’s utility, but it doesn’t have the ideal set of bells and whistles for what it does. Or maybe we’re all just getting so used to OnlyFans; we expect every site to look and feel just like it does.

That’s not to say MyGirlFund is a bad site. I’ve spent the last half hour adding amateur hotties as friends. The website feels more like a genuine social media site than most of the competitors, which will make me feel even more comfortable when I start spending tokens and asking for the real show.
