Joining a good Manhwa Club can be an easy way of getting access to Korean sex comics that may not be accessible through the usual channels, as most of the local comic shops where I live seem to specialize in American superhero books. Even the joints with a healthy manga selection often neglect its Korean counterpart, for reasons I may never understand. That applies to free hentai collections online, too, as most of them just stock the shelves with Japanese and Japanese-inspired doujins instead of the shit you’re looking for.

Well, my friends, you’re in luck today. ManhwaClub.net is a free stash of English-language manhwa with an emphasis on the adults-only stuff. They’ve been online since the tail end of 2022, and have been building their library and fanbase ever since. The site gets a couple million visitors a month, which tells me they’ve got plenty worth busting out the lube for. Of course, there’s only one way to be absolutely sure, so let’s see if I can rub one out before I get kicked out of Starbucks again.

Manhwa From Korea to Your Bedroom

The low-key design is kind of ironic considering manhwa is a visual style. Speaking of visual styles, this seems like a good point in the review to mention the subtle differences between manhwa and manga. To the untrained eye, they’re identical, even though I know there are weebs out there waiting to blow up my inbox for saying so. The most basic, fundamental difference between the two is that manga comes from the Land of the Rising Sun, while manhwa originates across the Sea of Japan in Korea.

The art styles are remarkably similar, with much bigger eyes than you see in Western comics, adult or otherwise. Manhwa tends to be a bit more restrained, in my opinion, and that’s reflected on the front page of Manhwa Club. The average hentai site is covered in tentacle porn, gender-swapped inflation scenarios and all kinds of freaky furry fucking. By contrast, I was greeted at ManhwaClub by a gaggle of mostly human women, engaging in a lot of vanilla romance and softcore sex.

Which ain’t to say the joint ain’t sexy, kinky and fun. While the hentai sites might be a bit more balls-out crazy with the depravity, there’s a nice range of adult shenanigans going on in the ManhwaClub.net library. Literally everything out front has a red 18+ icon to signify it ain’t appropriate for kids, and the titles hint at deep perversion even when the front-page thumbnails are clean.

Yes, my horny friends, I’m talking about drunken MILFs with boundary issues, young nymphos who want to bang grandpas, and interns sleeping their way to the top. The front-page spread includes sex-crazed stepsisters, eroge lesbians and purple fox-eared demon sluts. On a similar note, the tagging on ManhwaClub.net is fucking weak, which seems to be a recurring issue with online manhwa collections. Your average hentai site has a sprawling, thousands-deep index of tags delving into every microscopic sub-niche and fetish ever imagined. ManhwaClub, on the other hand, just has a few dozen broad categories that are largely SFW, like Supernatural, Romance, Martial Arts and Comedy. The categories here might be fine for a brick-and-mortar comic shop, but they’re of much less use to a rock-hard masturbator looking for his ideal choice of fap fodder.

Long Stories for Long Fap Sessions

The multi-comic nature of every storyline makes it a little difficult to get a sense for the full size and scope of ManhwaClub. If I’ve done my math right, they’ve got over 1220 ongoing stories, each with dozens of illustrated chapters. Some of them have literally hundreds of installments, which means you’ve got an enormous volume of content to shake your dick at.

The upload dates listed below the thumbnails are kind of wonky, too. They don’t seem to be in chronological order, despite the “Latest Manga Releases” label at the top, which makes it hard to get a sense for how often they’re adding new chapters. I can’t tell if they’re adding fresh material on the daily, but I can tell you they add a nice little stack of new manhwa every week.

The latest addition to the ManhwaClub is Chapter 23 of a little something called Absolute Smartwatch. The cover art features a couple busty, scantily clad ladies and one lucky-ass dude enjoying their company, with tags like Adult, Drama, Ecchi and Mature. “The ‘smartwatch’ obtained from an unidentified man that makes innocent women climax changes the life of our protagonist Seungkwan!” Sounds like my kind of story!

I took a brief detour from writing this review to take a peek at that latest chapter. The art is fucking fantastic, drawing me in from the first panels as some sexy ladies have a little catfight on a bridge. This leads to office hijinks, interpersonal drama, as well as some of the humping and pussy eating that I came here for in the first place.

Beating Off at the Manhwa Club

I knew I’d found exactly the piece when I saw the title, Company Outing That Never Ends Even If I Cum – “I’m Fucked By My Childhood Friend…!” It’s the kind of longwinded title I expect from a Japanese porn comic, even if the cover art was relatively clean and wholesome by any of the standards I’m used to.

I jumped right in with Chapter 102, the most recent episode in the epic. It opens with a full-on fuck scene, a dude nailing a girl from behind in the bathroom. “I’m cumming, I’m cumming, I’m cumming,” she says on the first page. The art ain’t as good as that last comic I checked out, but still fucking sexy as hell. The only downside is the censorship, with empty white spaces where the genitals should be.

I spent some time clicking semi-randomly through the Manhwa Club collection, just trying to get a sense for the censorship situation. I’m afraid I don’t have any good news to report, because I couldn’t find any uncensored manhwa genitals. It seems manhwa suffers the same typical issue as hentai, which is going to be a major bummer if you were hoping to see some illustrated penetration going on. Even if there is some uncensored material in the pile, you’re going to have a hard time finding it without proper tagging. A search for “Uncensored” only turned up three stories.

If you’re a regular consumer of Asian porn comics, hentai or manhwa, I bet you already expected the censorship. It’s such a common pitfall of the genre that it ain’t even a dealbreaker for most fans, which is why I think you’re still going to enjoy what ManhwaClub.net has to offer. Most sites focus on Japanese hentai, but these guys carry one of the finer selections of English-translated Korean manhwa on the internet. The tagging ain’t the greatest, but there’s more than enough material here to keep your dick hard and your hands busy for a good, long while.
